Our Heritage

Located in the rolling farm hills of Central New York State, Cortland Produce Inc. first opened up for business in 1929 as small town seller of produce. No order was too small or too large to fit into the original truck--a Model T pick-up!

Over the years Cortland Produce grew with hard work from a dedicated family and a passion for quality produce and unparalled customer service. The motto was "Do whatever it takes to make the cutomer happy."  That commitment to service and quality foods continues to this day.

Since then the company has grown into a full service wholesale foodservice and restaurant supply distributor servicing customers within a seventy five mile radius covering Cortland County, Broome County and Tompkins County.  

Cortland Produce Inc family owned and operated by Douglas and Paul Tesoriero and have a level of expertise in the food industry that is second to none. 

We're proud to be thriving as a fourth generation family-owned business NOW UNDER THE NEW NAME CP FOODS ready to take our company into the 21st Century.
